Fulton County Chairman calls on public to participate in corporate boycotts

Fulton County Commission Chair Rob Pitts says he’s been disturbed by corporations rolling back diversity, equity and inclusion policies.
He says he’s heard constituents complaining about the current political tide, especially among the community’s religious leaders.
In a recently written op-ed, Pitts encouraged people to fall back on a tactic that proved tried and true during the Civil Rights era — boycotts.
Pitts is calling for a boycott of multiple brands, including Target, which have publicly rolled back DEI policies in response to President Donald Trump’s crackdown.
